Edge AIP - version 3.0 released
The next version of the Edge AIP software for the TRB140 gateway modem is now available
The latest Edge AIP version includes new features and enhancements designed to improve usability and functionality.
Emergency Configuration
With the Edge AIP, users can monitor whether the connection between the AIP server and the Edge AIP—or the AIP server itself—has failed. If the connection is lost, the modem sends a message in the form of an emergency text message and/or emergency email to the designated recipients, independent of the AIP system. Options such as retransmissions, delay times, and recipient selection are configurable and can be set separately for each operating mode.
Signal Quality
The display of signal information in Edge AIP has been revised and made easier to use. Among other things, this makes it possible to identify problematic reception scenarios.
Further Improvements
- Firmware update to improve performance and apply the device manufacturer’s security patches.
- Additional adjustments to improve the stability of SMS sending.
