acron - version 10.2 now available
The next version of the plant chronicler acron is now available. What’s new in acron 10.2?
With acron 10.2, reporting becomes more robust, reusable, and significantly easier to maintain—while also creating a stable technical foundation for future innovations.
The new version expands system connectivity with a native Modbus/TCP provider, reduces manual effort in report creation, and improves the daily work of engineers and system integrators through numerous detailed optimizations.
New functions
Modbus/TCP provider: Direct device connection (energy meters, PLC)
Placeholders in reports: @Placeholder@ for reusable templates, CSV export/import
Future values: Plan & forecast data (production, energy, weather), visible in graphs & reports, REST access
WYSIWYG text fields: direct editing, formatting, live values {}
Static tables: Word style, multiple tables per page, individual formatting
Speedometer visualization: Analog KPI display, freely definable intervals
Report import/export: Transfer complete report sets between systems
Scheduled recalculations: At night, manual recalculation still possible

REST API now mandatory
